Preparing for the Consequences Of Invasion
For a long time, I’ve been ‘rotating the Rubik’s Cube’ of possibilities to explore different possibilities of why and what we’re up against. Is it incompetence or malice? Is it greed or evil? Are we being attacked from the outside or are the Barbarians already inside the gate? And so on.
Today we’re going to explore the angle that “China is behind all this.” I think we’re onto something here…
As your information scout, I know the importance of properly framing a complex issue so that we can isolate each piece and examine it separately. In the end, I know that what we’re up against isn’t any one thing, but rather the combined effects of several lines of attack.
It’s entirely possible that we’re facing the self-hating enmity of Barbarians who are already inside the gate and who are both greedy and evil and whose efforts are being propelled by Chinese assistance.
But in the interest of both exploring the Chinese angle and figuring out what we can do to prepare, let’s begin with this reader comment:

I’m not sure the immigration thing is actionable information for me. If there are covert operatives here in the US and they attack areas while well armed, we are not prepared for that. I was just thinking, I’ll hang white flags and start cooking a big pot of kitchree! The younger ones would probably run, the old ones will distract. For now, that’s my plan.

The set-up
The US has been the world’s policeman and sometimes bully and is therefore not always well-loved abroad. Further, as the world smashes into resource limits competition for those resources would lead various countries to begin to chafe and squabble and possibly even fight over them.
Kinetic war is the last in a long line of steps that begin with legal skirmishes, trade frictions, information battles and guerrilla tactics. The idea is to posture one’s country to be in the best possible position for when the actual bullets begin to fly.
