The Great Taking: Solutions For Part I (Subscriber Content)

For those who can truly process what’s taking place (seeing and hearing), the possibility exists to evade the many hardships on the way. As always, it’s not an easy path to walk but it’s worthwhile.

I have been reading the Bible daily with Evie ever since we got back from the FLCCC conference (thank you Matt and Jeff, and Tom and Terry)!

One clear pattern that emerges from it is “Humans have been here before.”

When we turn from the sacred and live in our animal selves, gratifying only our animal desires (gluttony, lust, greed, avarice, etc) then ‘wrath’ results.  Okay, but what are these ‘laws’ and what is this ‘wrath?’

One interpretation for me is that the laws are already well-known by me because I can’t escape them.  They are around me every moment of every day.  Laws like gravity and thermodynamics, and the laws of complexity that govern life.

Go ahead and ignore those laws, but if you do, wrath will result.

Your fields will deplete and become barren if you ignore the laws that govern soils.  But we humans are now doing this on the grandest of possible scales by ignoring (turning a blind eye and a deaf ear) to the elementary observation that oil, coal and natural gas are finite resources.  It’s blindingly obvious to me that humans do not have plan B in place for managing the decline phase.  So someday maybe someone will write a new chapter for the Bible that encodes the loss of billions of lives as the wrath that resulted from failing to heed the laws of God.  Or Nature, which God created.

The Great Taking, then, is merely another attempt by some humans to get a free lunch, to take from others without proper recompense or any moral authority>  This practice too is expressly forbidden in the Bible with warning stories scattered all throughout.
