Well, our “experts” continue to disappoint…

Why is it that so many of those we’re relying on aren’t being straight with us? Sure, we’ve come to expect that from politicians and the media, but scientists, too?

All that the $trillions in rescue bailouts/stimulus are doing is making the wealthy elites and the large corporations whole on their bad bets, while simultaneously making them richer by deforming stock prices higher.

And what do the rest of us get? Lost jobs. A promise of a measly $1,200 check that few have yet to receive. Shattered prospects.

Those who have pillaged our system are filling their pockets before it collapses. Why the heck are we not fighting back at this more forcefully?

Well, some good news to share today: pepsid, selenium and anticoagulants/blood thinners all appear to make a positive difference in covid-19 recovery rates.

Such good news is very welcome, as there’s not much to go around.

New infections in the US remain stubbornly high, and increasingly, the American people are feeling betrayed by their leaders (something our survey from last week validated).

Not only do citizens feel the government did too little too late to prevent the covid-19 pandemic, but they are feeling like they are being cast aside as collateral damage.

Natural or man-made/manipulated?

The debate rages on, though evidence is starting to mount on the side of at least *some* manipulation.

Well, it seems we are closer to solving the mystery of why some regions of the world exhibit higher covid-19 infection rates than others.

New research is revealing that covid-19 mutated early on in the pandemic to create a more transmissive strain: the G clade, which may also be associated with a higher viral load.

Picking up on our last video about the Newsweek report that the US has been funding bat coronavirus ‘gain of function’ research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, we dig further into the “Was covid-19 created in a lab?” debate.

Digging into the biochemistry of viruses, we are struck in particular by a genetic string of RNA in covid-19 — specifically the polybasic furin cleavage site PRRA — that has all the appearance of an “insert” (i.e., something that does NOT look like a natural mutation)

Newsweek reveals that as recently as last year, the US funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in ‘gain of function’ research on bat coronaviruses.

The source of that funding? The National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Disease, headed by…..(drumroll please)….Dr Anthony Fauci, lead medical expert for American’s Covid-19 task force.

Following yesterday’s pimping of Gilead Science’s antiviral drug remdesivir on scant and suspect results, it’s hard not to start asking the question: Are we being played?

The world is cheering the news that Gilead Science’s antiviral drug remdesivir is showing a “clear cut positive effect in diminishing time to recover” for those infected with the covid-19 virus.

President Trump says he is now pushing the FDA to fast-track remdesivir through the approvals process.

So the media is filled with joyous headlines and the stock market had a banner up day.

But as with most announcements lately, digging into the supporting research raises lots of questions about the news.
