The weight of the evidence now rather conclusively points to the idea that the near assassination of Trump was facilitated by one or more agencies of the US government.
Until it is conclusively proved to be merely the consequence of the most profound screw-up in security since the Lincoln assassination, our default position is “they let it happen.”
And since that cannot be easily done, we have to assume that the shooter was known and encouraged and lured into place somehow. I mean, otherwise, we’d have to believe that (1) somehow they left a rooftop with “a well-known high priority vulnerability” unguarded on the exact day that (2) a 20-year-old doofus with a gun decided to climb up a luckily positioned ladder to take a number of shots at Trump while (3) fully trained snipers watched everything unfold before taking him out.
That’s too much to believe, so we’re going with “they made this all happen.” (More for subscribers…)
