Clearly, the most pressing question – and the least answerable – is “How much time do we have left?”
Like everybody, I don’t know. But I can understand what the pressure points are and whether or not there’s growing or diminishing pressure on those points.
First, we all know that “they” will continue their pillaging operations for as long as they can. The change, when it comes, will have to be because of a forcing function. That is, ‘reality’ will have to intrude.
Chief among my concerns, naturally, is the price of oil. All economic activity and 100% of people’s sense of prosperity and the entire notion of ‘free time’ are all derivatives of ample supplies of cheap energy.
