I had the opportunity to moderate a panel discussion on the mRNA vaccines. This was in response to the sudden push to launch these terrible products into the H5N1 arena, which I strongly oppose on many levels.
- The mRNA technology is not ready for mass use and needs more testing
- The Lipid NanoParticles (LNPs) distribute widely throughout the body and inadvertently target vital organs such as the heart and ovaries
- Manufacturing error accidentally encapsulates DNA plasmids and fragments into the LNPs raising the prospect of oncogenic (cancer-causing) outcomes
- Killing entire flocks of chickens after a bird flu detection wipes out the naturally resistant individuals which is terrible science and worse agricultural practice.
