In this week's Off The Cuff podcast, Chris and John Rubino discuss:

  •  Has A New Bull Market In Gold Begun?
    • Maybe, though a short term pull-back is likely
  • Has Oil Bottomed?
    • Much harder to tell
  • Electric Cars
    • How long may it really take for them to reach mainstream penetration?
  • How Bad Will The Next Market Crash Be?
    • Very bad. This next one's for all the marbles.

This week Chris and John get excited to talk about some glimmers of optimism on the horizon. A big one being the growing realization that a new bull market in gold — which has had a monster 2016 so far — is likely underway.

Not to say that there aren't still risks. Indeed, a corrective price retracement in the near future is due, and would in fact be healthy for the yellow metal's longer term price outlook. After nearly 2 years of grinding decline, it may just be time for bullion investors to start seeing years of gains again.

Oil is a murkier picture, though Chris remains confident that the current low price will not persist beyond this year.
